We want you to be satisfied with your car hire experience. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may be eligible for a refund in accordance with the following policy.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your car hire reservation, please do so as soon as possible to avoid any cancellation fees. If you cancel more than 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, you will not be charged. If you cancel less than 2 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, you will be charged the full amount of the rental fee and may not be eligible for a refund.
No-Show Policy
If you do not show up to pick up your Co Wheels car and do not contact us to cancel the reservation, you will be charged the full amount of the rental fee and will not be eligible for a refund.
Early Return Policy
If you return the car early, you will not be eligible for a refund for any unused rental time.
Eligibility for Refund
To be eligible for a refund, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must have a valid reason for requesting a refund, such as a mechanical issue with the rental car.
- You must have proof of rental, such as a rental agreement or receipt.
- You must have returned the rental car in the same condition as when you received it, with no damage or excessive wear and tear.
- You must have followed all terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
Refund Process
If you meet the above eligibility criteria, you may request a refund by contacting our customer support team via email at info@co-wheels.org.uk. Please include your name, booking reservation number, and reason for requesting a refund.
Once we receive your request, we will review it and determine if you are eligible for a refund. If you are eligible, we will process the refund within 7 business days.
Please note that any damage or excessive wear and tear to the rental car may result in a deduction from your refund to cover repair or cleaning costs. Additionally, any tolls, or other fees incurred during the rental period will not be refunded.
14 Day Cooling Off Period:
You have the right to cancel your Co Wheels membership within 14 days from the date of initial registration without providing any reason.
How to Request a Cancellation:
To cancel your membership during the cooling-off period, you must:
Notify us in writing or by email at info@co-wheels.org.uk within 14 days from the date of initial registration.
Provide your full name and the reason for cancellation.
Refund Eligibility:
If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period and have not used a booking, you are eligible for a full refund of the membership fee.
Refunds will be processed within 21 days after we receive your cancellation request.
Exceptions to Cooling Off Period:
Please note that the cooling-off period does not apply if:
You have booked and used any Co Wheels services during the 14-day period.
Policy Changes
We reserve the right to change this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to this policy will be posted on our website.
